Happy Belated Valentine's Day!

Hey there! Hope your Valentine's day was fabulous! I went and got myself a bike, its a Schwinn Breeze, beach cruiser type bike. Also Picked up WeeRide Kangaroo seat for little Handsome, it goes in between my seat and the handle bars of the bike.

My van is in the shop getting Transmission work, and other costly things done to it, so in the meantime I have my grandpas van. I have been running non stop today....seriously. I have a cake that needs to be made and decorated by 4 tomm afternoon. I make cakes as a side thing, check out that page here.

I'm doing something similar to this cake:  It will be a half sheet, so one large rectangle cake, the sides will be the same I am hoping, and then adding some real purple daisies, and fake ivory flowers to the top...maybe a pearl necklace and some earrings...

this is not my photo and I forget where it came from :/
Ok so here was my Valentine mani. I did a base of WnW Spoiled's Fuzzy Dice. Used a circle 'price tag' sticker for the half moon using SH XW Black out. Then I stamped with CC Foiled collection, the reddish/pink one and the purplish/pink one, using some of the valentine's stamps on the Bundle Monster sets.

 What did you do Yesterday???

15 Week Challenge......Part Two, Week Six

Halfway there people, Halfway there!

So this challenge I had to choose a favorite thing....well I couldn't, so instead i did a few of my favorite things...
I love cats...
I love the color blue...
I love roses...
I love flowers...
I love flowers... Again...

I used China Glaze Sexy Lady as a base, its pretty, its pink-not my favorite color, bright and fun. Its a creme polish, it went on nice and smooth.

On my thumb, I stamped a cat. I used Sinful Colors Black on Black and the Hello Kitty plate (M71) from the Born Pretty store. I then made cat paw prints with the same black polish and a dotting tool.

On my index, I just slopped some sparkly goodness from Revlon-Blue Mosaic. It is super pretty with lots of different sizes, and some green in there.

On my middle, I went with a purple rose....if you look close you can see the tiny sparkles from Orly Velvet Rope. Plate used was: BM14.

On my ring I used a Fimo flower decoration...

On my pinky I went with flowers again, and stamped Sinful Colors 24/7 on first using plate BM16, then used Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's Lacey Lilac and plate BM12. Very Subtle and dainty.

Pretty.
What are your favorite things?

Winter already?

That title is what my husband asked me when I showed him this manicure.
I used China Glaze Caribbean Blue as my base. It went on great, just like it should. China Glaze is my favorite brand! Its a very pretty blue, almost sea like, but it has this shimmer in it that is amazing. Its like a white/silver shimmer...so I guess with it being paired with what I paired it with, it looked wintery! I stamped a french tip design from Bundle Monster plate 10 using Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear White On. I still need lots of practice in my stamping technique, because it doesn't look very pretty....the whites on the nail look marbled or less color in some spots than other spots...and my placement wasn't perfect either...oh well, practice makes perfect I guess. I also added a butterfly to my thumbs.

Pink Wednesday...its late but I made it, lol

I wore China Glaze I wanna Lei Ya as a base, and stamped it with an LA colors no name dark pink/mauve color using BM plate 215 - snake skin.
The polishes went on nicely, the LA colors is a great stamping polish!
Unfortunately my pictures suck this time, I'm not quite sure why, I'm still learning my new camera and I am getting frustrated with it! I am only posting one picture....Well two cause I wanted to show you what a lighter can do to your nail if your not careful while lighting candles!

see, be careful when lighting candles, lol!

Oh and here is a random picture of my youngest, Hunter....

Meow!

As per a request from a friend, Kristen, I did a leopard themed manicure. I used a neutral base from Wet n Wild, a light pink beige color. I stamped it with Bundle Monster plate 221, using Wet n Wild Black Creme, that I scored at Walgreen's for 69 cents! Then I taped off the tips and painted them black...I wore it like that until I thought of coloring in the print with my Yellow Paint pen I found at Big Lots.

I like this, I am still wearing it, its been two days! Will probably have it on for at least another day too!

What do you think?

I'm still getting used to my new camera, so if the pictures aren't very good, I'm sorry....
I also need to make me one of those light boxes!

Pink Wednesday, Hyper Haute!

For today's pink Wednesday I used China Glaze Hyper Haute, from the tronica collection. It is a yummy Holographic pink. The only thing I'm not to keen on, is that it dries super fast, one brush stoke down the middle on my nail and I go to the second stoke and it pulls up a little from the first stroke...it was managable though, and looks so 'Haute' when finished! I then stamped it with Orly Velvet Rope using a flower found on Bundle Monsters 03 plate. I stamped a bunch of times so it looked like a full nail design instead of one lone stamp....it turned out fabulous!

Birthday Party fun!

A week ago was my Bestie's sons 1st Birthday party. I decided something festive was in order. I used CND Hotski To Tchotchke as a base. I then added some spirals, or festive streamers? ;)  I used Sally Hansens Xtreme wear line, in Mellow Yellow and Crushed, I used Bundle Monster plate 224. I had to triple stamp each color, so that is why it is messy or slighty blurry looking....I think this was my second sort of succesful stamping project. I am wearing a perfect stamping project right now, to be shown later this week! It is so pretty and came out so pretty, It was My Mothers day Manicure!

BTW, hope everyone had a Fab Mothers Day!

Stamping Success!

Good Morning....Royal Wedding was this morning, any one watch it LIVE? I didn't, I prefer my sleep!
I did this Manicure a couple days back...with the new Bundle Monster Plates!
I used Sally Hansen's Xtreme Wear in Lacey Lilac, NYC in Cashmere Creme, and to stamp with I used Sally Hansen's Xtreme wear Whit On.

I found this and several others at Big Lots...Its not the best on this Manicure, but might work better on a smooth surface.

NOTD: Caribbean style!

Hi! This is China Glaze's Caribbean Blue. Its very blue, with a bit of shimmer in it. Sooo pretty.
It went on well, nice and smooth. This is two coats, with a bottom and top coat.

Here you can see the shimmer - and my dry cuticles!

Then I stamped it with Bundle Monster's 04 plate from their first original set, Has anyone gotten the new set yet? I know they just got them in, I'm wanting them, but can't excuse the purchase yet....so I'll have to wait. :(

I actually got alot of compliments on this manicure! This was my first successful stamping!

PS, I realize now that I spelt 'Carribean' wrong in all my pictures! Oooops!
