Blame it on Fat Tuesday!

Today I have just a plain swatch for you.

Misa - Blame it on Fat Tuesday

He is a lovely bright fresh green, almost neon. It dries to a satin finish with out topcoat. I used Seche Vite, so its super shiny.

I had it on my toes and it was still looking good, but I was getting tired of it already and decided to throw one of my new polishes on top. I picked up Dawns Dew. And this is what it did: (click on it to enlarge it to see better)

15 Week Challenge....Part One, Week Four

Hey there you guys! Just a quick post! This is Misa Blame it on Fat Tuesday, and sadly this is the only picture I managed to get of her! Sad! Its not a good picture either, I was at the park with two of my children and took this between shots of them playing and forgot to take more before I took it off! My cuticles are all dry and stuff....but look how glossy this creme is! She was really gorgeous in person! Went on like a dream! This is two coats with SV as a top coat.

Crazy....

Well I started off wanting to do Chloe's Nails design called Scotch Tape Rays.....but when I went to do the cutting of the tape I got really frustrated with it...couldn't get it thin and straight, so I went with just a diagonal line. I started off using a base of Sally Hansen White On, and then China Glaze Red Stallion, then Seche Vite. The next morning I then did the tape thing with Misa Dying Love. It looked very harsh and muted....so I added dome dots of China Glaze Tantalize Me. I am not really liking it in the picture, that is why there is only one, and the Seche Vite shrank my polish after I cleaned it up.....so it looks messy in the picture :( I only wore it for a day.

Do you like it? Is the design OK, maybe with different colors? Three of one color, different shades perhaps....

Pink Wednesday the III

How is everyone? It is overcasty here in Florida this afternoon with breakthrough sunny patches....and we are in full on love bug season one! Its horrible! Annoying! Messy! Gross! Pain in the butt!

I chose Misa's Party in the Masquerade for today's Pink Wednesday! It is VERY bright neon pink, with an orange undertone. Went on fantastic and smelt a little strong...

I topped it with Seche Vite, and it shrunk my Misa...it has been shrinking my polishes alot lately, I don't know if I am putting it on wrong or what, but I am getting slightly annoyed with it, you can see the shrinkage in the last two photos better...anyone have any tips for me?

NOTD: Dying Love...

From my big purchase I chose Misa's Dying Love. Its a nice rich, deep charcoal black! Goes on very smooth. This is my first Misa, and I love it!

In the morning I did a tape manicure, four squares....with China Glazes Sexy Lady. I wasn't thrilled with it at all.....I think the pink was very muted with this black, and I should have used a brighter pink or a differnt color all together...plus it shrunk after my Seche Vite top coat, so it showed the black underneath it....

I liked the black alone better than this....Oh well, Live and learn, right?

PS, tommorrow hopefully I will get up my stash photos!
