Today I have just a plain swatch for you.

Misa - Blame it on Fat Tuesday

He is a lovely bright fresh green, almost neon. It dries to a satin finish with out topcoat. I used Seche Vite, so its super shiny.

I had it on my toes and it was still looking good, but I was getting tired of it already and decided to throw one of my new polishes on top. I picked up Dawns Dew. And this is what it did: (click on it to enlarge it to see better)

Valentine's day has arrived at Sassy Lacquer

Hey there Sassy Lacquer fans!

I have two new polishes to show you today.

The first one up is 'Be Mine, Valentine?'

 Be Mine, Valentine? is a reddish pinkish slightly jelly base with micro red glitter bits. Also in this polish: matte lavender squares, matte pink hex's, and white hearts.

Second one up is 'You Make My Heart Sing'

You Make My Heart Sing is in a pink frosty jelly-ish base that shimmers in the light. Floating in the beauty are fine baby pink hex glitter, matte red hex glitter, a dash of holo pink hex glitter, matter red glitter, pink square glitter, and black hearts.

Update on me...

There comes a time in bloggers life when they get tired...well that point has hit me...plus my depression...I'm slowly crawling out of that hole though....

Its also summer here, with four kids that just means I have NO time to myself...

On the Sassy Lacquer front I have been working on a fun collection. It will include some 'fun' things from my childhood:
Hot Wheels
Twister
Lego's
Carmen Sandiego
and Waldo

Remember those? I'm really excited about them! They will be released in the next two weeks. Also coming soon is a Halloween collection I am working on.

Here is a preview of a polish from the Halloween collection: Its name is Trick or Treat (so far), it will be made with purple and without purple....What do you think?

In all honesty, I have not been taking good care of my nails in the past months! Its been a long time since I have actually done a complete mani...just haven't felt like it , and if I have I have no idea on what to paint them with!! Ugh!

Independence Day 2012

Sounds like a good movie title to me!! We are having a lazy day over here today. Husband said he bought some fireworks for tonight, I think we are going to go swimming later on also...I had to drain and clean and reset the pool after the storm came through. (that was alot of work!) It is nice and clean now though.

I haven't painted my nails in so long I forget what my last mani was!! I have been blue and down in the dumps, but I am crawling out of it slowly.

Last night I painted my nails with Revlon TS Cherry, and this morning I used a Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear blue and white, and also Milani red sparkle one coat glitter-no gold....and added dots to my nails at the tips, plus then I used a Confetti multi glitter for dots as fireworks but it didn't turn out well at all....

And of course I have to show you Uncle Sam, from my line: Sassy Lacquer. I wore this for Memorial Day this year. Its still avail in my shop. http://sassylacquer.storenvy.com/

Sassy Lacquer Blogger line Reveal!!!

Hey there readers! How's it going. Its Monday morning here...and Tropical Storm Debby is upon us...It has rained ALL weekend! And it is still raining!

So back before I ever released my line of polish, Sassy Lacquer, I contacted a few bloggers that held a place in my mind as being great. Three wrote back to me, and my 'Inspirational Blogger Collection' was born.

Tuesday through Thursday each one of the Blogger's will reveal their polish. Each worked closely with me on their polish, we went back and forth....until each of them was perfect.

On Friday the polish line will be in my store.

Each Blogger will also have one up for grabs in their own giveaway!!! How exciting, right?

Some Questions for you...

Hey there! I haven't been around as much as I want to, I am so sorry. I just have alot on my plate and I just don't feel like doing any of it!!

I do have a question about my 'store' for you guys though. I am considering opening up a store through Storenvy, its like Etsy, but with none of Etsy's fee's. I hate how I have to scroll through a big 'post' to look at my pictures of the ones I have listed. If I have I am thinking well do my customers hate it? Am I turning off potential customer's with this type of selling method? Can you share your thoughts with me.

On mine we have day old 'fresh' baked grocery store bread, toasted with salami, turkey, lettuce, cheese, tomato, cheese and onion. Yummy!
